Alerts now tell you when a connector stops answering

Added

When a connector's server goes down, the assistant keeps answering shoppers but without its tools, such as the catalog search. Nothing told you. The Alerts page now does.

  • Opens when a connector that a live agent uses fails two checks in a row. AISA checks every hour. It is a critical alert, named Connector not answering, with the connector's name and an Open connector button.
  • A banner at the top of the site's Overview, Widgets and Agents pages names each failing connector.
  • Closes by itself at the first check that succeeds, when no live agent uses the connector any more, or when you delete it.

Your admins get one email per hourly check listing every connector alert it opened, grouped by site, with a link to each connector. The same connector is listed at most once in 24 hours. The email carries no failure detail.

The connector's page has a new Connection card with the time of the last check and of the last answer. Its Check now button calls the connector once and says whether it answered, so you can confirm a fix without waiting for the next hour. It needs the Connectors: Edit permission, and a connector can be checked once a minute.

A connector that no live agent uses is never checked every hour and never opens an alert.

The REST API (POST /api/v1/connectors/{connectorId}/check) and the new MCP tool check_connector run the same check, and list_alerts returns the new alerts with the connector in subject.
