Buttons in the conversation keep your brand colour on hover
FixedA filled button in the conversation showed your primary colour at rest, then switched to the dashboard's green when a shopper hovered it. That green had nothing to do with your brand.
The hover now follows your primary colour. This covers the send button, Add to cart on product cards, and Next and Submit on a clarifying question, on your hosted page, in the embed and in the playground's chat panel.
How the hover shade is picked:
- Most colours get a little darker on hover.
- A near-black primary gets a little lighter instead, since a darker shade would not show. That includes the soft black
#1A1A1Aa site with no primary colour uses. - The text on the button keeps the colour it has at rest. When a darker fill would make that text hard to read (under 4.5:1 contrast), the hover lightens instead.
There is nothing to set: the hover shade is worked out from your primary colour and changes with it.
Still green: dialogs on the hosted page and the embed. A dialog opened from the conversation there, such as the feedback dialog's Submit button or the confirmation to object to usage measurement, still shows the dashboard's green, at rest and on hover. In the playground's chat panel, those dialogs open inside the panel and take your brand.
