The setup screen shows the pages analysis, and country folders no longer pass for languages
ChangedThree changes around the pages AISA finds on your storefront.
- A line for the pages analysis during setup. While your store is analyzed, the progress screen now shows Starting the analysis of your sitemaps and pages, between the catalog line and the brand research. It turns to Analysis of your sitemaps and pages started as soon as the import is launched, and says the import keeps running in the background with its results in Pages. If the import could not start or ended as failed, the line says so in a neutral tone and points you to Pages to start it. The analysis itself is not affected.
- Clearer names for the two research lines. The line that read your own domain, Reading your own pages, is now Learning what your store sells, and Researching your brand is now Researching your brand online, so "pages" only names the sitemap import.
- No more wrong language guesses from country folders. A page found in a sitemap or from traffic used to get a language guess from any short code at the start of its path, so
/ca/(Canada) read as Catalan and/ch/(Switzerland) as Chamorro. Automatic reading skips a page whose guessed language your site does not serve, so those pages could be left unread without any sign of why. The guess now only trusts a fixed list of language codes, and ignores country folders such as/ca/,/ch/,/be/,/uk/or/be-fr/. Such a page has no language guess until it is read, and automatic reading no longer skips it for its language. Folders like/fr/,/de-ch/or/pt-br/still give a guess. Pages already stored keep the guess they had.
